Here you can see Sophie Conran sampling one of her chocolate dessert recipes from her latest cook book. Sophie has kept real cooks very much in mind when designing her range. For instance, the rectangular roasting dish, round pie dish and low casserole have especially designed flat bottoms so you can cook directly on the hob or hotplate. This white tableware collection is one of our best selling lines in the barn. Their range is so extensive we have given over a whole bay in the barn to accomodate it. We stock everything from ramekins to gravy boats, individual casserols to large soup tureens. We have both fine white china and porcelain available. We are known for holding a huge selection of white china and here you can see just one of the square designs available. We have specialised in white china now for over 15 years and so if white tableware or cookware is what you are looking for then you will not be disappointed when you visit us.

We are importing this unique creamware ourselves from Thailand.This factory specialises just in cream tableware because the clay found close by lends itself perfectly to produce this beautiful finish. This range also mixes very well with other decorated tableware and so helps you to keep the costs down as you design your own settings.

Botanic Blue is a truly European pattern reminiscent of a French antique toile fabric adapted to create a classic yet modern pattern, with motifs taken from Portmeirion's very British design icon "Botanic Garden". We are finding it's not just the tableware that is popular in the barn it's the attractively packaged giftware that make such beautiful presents. Side plates £2.50 Pasta serving bowls £5.50 Cereal bowls £2.95 These seconds are really popular with our customers and look good simply used as they are or mixed in with decorated Portmeirion or plain white tableware. We have great fun showing clients how to mix these seconds into their existing white ware. Portmeirion seconds are good quality and are freezer and dishwasher safe.
